
GUIDEWELL AND FLORIDA BLUE APPOINT JULIA M. BROWN TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

JACKSONVILLE, Florida. – [March 10, 2025] – GuideWell Mutual Holding Corporation (GuideWell), a not-for-profit, policyholder-owned health solutions company dedicated to helping people and communities achieve better health, and parent organization to Florida Blue, the leading health insurer in the state, today announced Julia M. Brown has been named to its board of directors.
A veteran supply chain executive, Brown brings over 30 years of experience in procurement and operations, formerly serving as chief procurement officer for major global multinational brands including Mars Incorporated, Clorox, Kraft, and Carnival Corporation & plc. She has also held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Diageo, and Gillette. Brown’s wealth of expertise in business transformation, supply chain optimization, risk management, and focus on driving sustainable growth and operational excellence, perfectly position her to help drive GuideWell and Florida Blue’s mission forward.
Currently, Brown serves on the boards of the Molson Coors Beverage Company, Ocado Group plc, Perrigo Company, and the Venetian Resort. She also serves as a trustee for the Pérez Art Museum in Miami.
