Among the first organizations in the industry to name a Chief Health Equity Officer, we’re also part of the Equity Alliance — a GuideWell initiative focused on addressing systemic racism and health disparities — and have pledged to invest $25 million over five years to fund these critical efforts.
Florida Blue Foundation — the largest health-focused philanthropic organization in the state — allows us to tackle health inequities within at-risk communities. To date, the Foundation has awarded $27 million to underserved communities by supporting programs focused on food security, health equity, mental health, and generational poverty through the Growing Resilient Communities program.
